Account Management

This page covers everything related to your GenoTool user account, from registration to profile management.

Creating an Account

To start using GenoTool:

1. Go to app.genotool.com and click Register.
2. Fill in your name, email address, and password (minimum 8 characters).
3. Confirm your password.
4. Complete the registration.

After registration, a verification email is sent to your email address. Click the link in the email to verify your account.

Login / Logout

• Go to app.genotool.com and enter your email and password to log in.
• To log out, click on your name in the top-right corner and select Logout.

Profile Management

To view and edit your profile:

1. Click on your name in the top-right corner.
2. Select Profile.

From here you can update:

• Name - Your display name (3-50 characters).
• Email - Your email address. If you change your email, you will need to verify the new address.
• Language - Choose between English and Dutch.
• Timezone - Set your preferred timezone.

Changing Your Password

1. Go to your profile page.
2. Enter your current password.
3. Enter and confirm your new password (minimum 8 characters).
4. Save the changes.

Deleting Your Account

If you wish to delete your account:

1. Go to your profile page.
2. Click Delete Account.
3. You may be asked to provide feedback about why you are leaving.
4. Confirm the deletion.
